Matured for eighteen months in finest french oak barriques adding complexity to the persistent finish. A full bodied wine with fine, ripe tannins giving structure to a wine crafted to age and develop.

Deep crimson colour with purple hues, 100% estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon with a hint of Merlot fruit. Ripe, spicy blackcurrant fruit aromas with rich, smooth blackcurrant flavours on the palate with fine grainy tannins giving a complex and elegant structure. Matured for eighteen months in best quality French oak barriques this wine will reward cellaring.

Nose is expressive, with bright strawberry
and red raspberry aromas On the palate it is clean with a citrus zing, with
flavours of strawberry, lime, red raspberry.
Acidity is medium and perfect for food
matching, but mild enough for drinking as an aperitif.
Have it with mildly flavoured foods, nothing too fatty.
Simple appetizers, lean fish, lean pork, simply prepared
chicken, maybe spicy hot dishes such as Indian cuisine or Thai.
A wonderfully, clean, enjoyable summer sipper.
2008 Nuggetty Vineyard Semillon space
Pale golden colour. 100% Semillon fruit picked in two batches to create layers of flavours from crisp citrus through to pear and quince flavours of the later picked grapes. Barrel-fermented in 4-5 year old oak barriques to give hints of oak without overpowering the fresh fruit flavours. Matured in oak for three months on 'lees' and stirred every two weeks to produce a rich almost creamy mouthfeel and texture.
This wine can be enjoyed now as a fresh, crisp young wine but it will cellar well and will develop lovely honey, toasty flavours with age.
